The events that caused the emigration of scientists from Russia after the October Revolution are considered. The contribution of former "polytech" to the development of economic education, research, as well as state statistics of Bulgaria and the strengthening of its international relations is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the personality of O.N. Anderson. The contribution of other Russian professors and researchers is also being considered.
